Since 1990, Richfield Recreation has operated the Richfield Farmers Market to provide access to local, healthy, and affordable foods, and to offer a community gathering space to help connect residents, as well as local producers. The Richfield Farmers Market also emphasizes educational and recreational activities through our involvement with the Richfield Arts Commission, the U of M Master Gardener Program, and other programs and events.
Our vendors are a diverse mix of local farmers, food entrepreneurs and artisans. New vendors are welcome to apply for daily vendor booths - contact Bonnie at email@example.com to check availability of dates. All our vendors must be located within 200 miles of our location/Richfield. See the Vendor Information Page to apply for either our Winter or Summer market. For other questions or to pick up an application, visit us at the Richfield Community Center.
Would you like to perform at the Richfield Farmers Market? To sign up for a one or three-hour slot at the market, visit our Farmers Market Musician Sign-Up website page. Musicians volunteer their time, but are allowed to put out a tip jar, and sell band merchandise while playing at the market.
Richfield-based community and non-profit groups, as well as city/state/county agencies, may apply to host a table at the Richfield Farmers Market for informational or educational purposes (no political campaign materials are allowed). We give preference to groups who relate to our mission of health and local food access. Please complete the Community Table Application and mail it to the Richfield Recreation offices (address above) at least two weeks before the market date.
No pets are allowed during market hours (to comply with MN Department of Health Code #4626.1585 6-501.115 prohibiting animals from food service areas). Service animals are allowed.
